Day 2 Can Gio
Samson Loy

Today, I learned that Habitats can be preserved in the Biosphere. The mangrove forest holds many trees and a large amount of land to supply Oxygen to the Vietnamese people. The mangrove forest was also used to hide military personnel during the Vietnam War, as the dense forest was large and thick enough to hide soldiers. The mangrove forest is also being used as an advantage by Vietnamese people. Many animals also have habitats and breeding grounds in the Mangrove forest. People surviving in the forest also came up with many ways to obtain food and fresh water. This proves that the mangrove forest is very important to animals and Vietnamese people, as well as tourists, in which the Mangrove forest and Animal habitats have a great potential for tourism.

Day 3 LSTS School visit and History museum
Samson Loy

Today, upon reaching the school, I realised that it is similar to SST as they try to focus on applied learning on the students and they have a large campus to fit 1200 students. They are also a school chosen by Microsoft as they have many awards, gained through Microsoft, thus making them one of the most famous schools in HCMC.
